His/Her Story:

Michael was born to Phineas and Esther (Crabtree) Littleton on May 11, 1949, in Holly Springs, MS. He graduated 9th in his class from Holly Springs High School in 1967. He went on to study journalism at the University of Mississippi. He graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science and began working for WKRA 92.7 FM in Holly Springs. His primary job was the broadcasting of Holly Springs High School (HSHS) sports from 1970-1978.

He was approached by Arnold Adams at a HSHS basketball game in January 1978 about being a ring announcer for the MVW. He graciously turned down the offer due to time constraints and schedule conflicts with his current job. In February 1978, Michael was laid off from WKRA. He contacted Arnold and practically begged for the job. Arnold readily gave it to him.

Michael introduced MVW matches until May 2006. He retired from announcing after not being able to recover sufficiently from an injury received as an innocent bystander in a brawl during March 30's first main event pitting members of the Friends in Low Places against each other in a Loser Leaves Town match.

He retired back to Holly Springs and lived in peace until suffering a stroke on September 12, 2010. He died before his wife Constance could get paramedics to their home.
